1. Open Database > Batches >DNE:Planting View for the “Number of Sites”, “ # of Actual Seeds”, “Growing Container” to determine what kind of growing medium and type and size of growing containers
  2. Retrieve the seeds based on Seed Number
  3. Take a small plastic container and put it on a scale and tare
  4. Put in seeds slowly until desired weight is reached
  5. Close the seed container with a clean lid to avoid contamination
  6. Repeat the seed weighing process for number of trays needed for the batch
  7. Print out a batch tag based on “Print Batch Tag” instructions and keep it close to seed container(s)
  8. Take out the number of appropriately sized perforated tray as indicated by “Number of Sites” (and stack into a 10×20 black perforated tray if needed for easy handling) and stack them in a white solid tray
  9. Cover the bottom of the perforated tray with a rock wool crest plate
  10. Take a 5 gallon bucket and put a little bit of Pure Blend Grow -Pro in

  13. Pour the solution over rockwool medium generously until completely saturated
  14. Transfer the rock wool and perforated tray onto a NEW solid white tray and bring to a work area
  15. Open ONE of the pre-measured seed container and raised it about 6 inches above the soaked rockwool medium and slowly tap the seeds over it for even distribution including the corners
  16. Distribute more evenly by hand if needed to avoid empty spots
  17. Spray generously with clean cold tap water using sprayer
  18. Spray the inside of a humidity dome
  19. Cover the tray with the humidity dome but avoid spilling any droplets onto the growth medium
  20. Repeat the process for each tray
  21. Update the user and position in Batches >DNE:Planting View> Update User > Position (SS) and this auto-filter the batch out of the list
  22. Place tray onto a heating pad
